You know what I think you people need to do. Deal with it. Yes, I know its unrelated to the game but as you might want to see the tags to this, its in "Helpful Tools". So um this is the part where I can just do two things:
Gloat and laugh in your face
Or walk away feeling better about myself because I am helping others...
I think I will continue to choose the latter option.
Very cool! Thanks for posting. I'ma probably try this on my comp now, see if I can squeeze a couple more megabytes out of my comp!
Oh, and all you people slamming Geek, please note that it is helpful to some of us, and some of us are glad he posted it. 'please take it down' is going a bit too far.
By junk, I mean caches, logs, and what not. I do a bi weekly clean I remove about 2 GB each clean. And besides, getting rid of caches and logs sorta wipes the log clean, so people spying on you can't see what you did.
Okay, first of all, a fellow named Aubrey Falconer has posted before about a bookmark application and a note application.
Second of all, some problems with playing the game can be eliminated by properly maintaining your equipment.
Third of all, I find this post to be vastly more related to the game than all the "Tell your Mars story here!!!!!!/Wut waz ur name b4?????/I'm PLANNING to make a world!!!!!!/Join my club!!!!!!" posts.
And finally, Mac Cleanse may be great but it's twenty bucks. Onyx is freeware, extremely thorough when purging logs & caches, scan's your hard drive for missing or corrupt files and disk errors, performs disk utility permissions repair, reveals a written history of the computer industry and Onyx can add a couple of nifty tricks such as hidden folders and animated desktop plus disable some annoying system warnings. Yeah, Onyx is for me and after resolving about 15 posts tonight, this posts bumps back up.
I was just about to ask Geek what he had against Onyx (which I have been using for years), but it seems that Kruncher beat me to it.
I would generally bury this post for advocating a non mars related commercial product, but it will live due to the recommendations for a free tool that works just as well.
This has nothing to do with Mars! Or does it clean up the bugs that screw up mars explorer? Well anyway, TOO EXPENSIVE, AND NOT NEEDED! THIS POST SHOULD BE HIDDEN!!!! deleted if possible. too bad you cant delete posts. well you can change it and reuse it. just edit it!
Dude, no offense but shut up. I know its expensive, you can use a free trial and I think this post is actually more effective than your post of the mouse or pictures. (Hint: edit your own posts) And try no to use caps next time.
